I like to use wooden stakes instead of stars to rate the books I read. Here's a little description of each rating.
You'll rarely see 1 stake ratings. I normally don't bother reviewing a book if I can't give it at least 2 stakes.
An "okay" read. Borrow don't purchase.
It wasn't good, it wasn't bad, it was just so-so.
Great read - shelf worthy!
